Braves fans on social media not kind toward Truist Park
The sun has set on SunTrust Park.
On Tuesday, the Braves and Truist, the bank formed by the merger of SunTrust and BB&T, announced the stadium’s new name is Truist Park.
The stadium had been called SunTrust since it opened in 2017.

Social media was quick to respond, and the initial reaction was less than enthusiastic.

Truist Park. Boy they really went out on a limb there. Perfect opportunity to honor Hank Aaron or the culture of the Atlanta Braves, instead went the boring corporate route. Swing and a miss.
