Best-selling author Zane will be at the Black Madonna Cultural Center and Bookstore for two events in May as she launches her latest book, “Vengeance.”

Zane, who writes erotic fiction, will discuss and sign copies of her new book as well as take part in a fundraiser to support the women's wellness program at HEALing Community Center, which provides people with affordable healthcare.

Events will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 23, which is also the fundraiser and will include a mix-and-mingle during a private reception with Zane, and May 25 at the bookstore, 946 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. S.W.

Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com for $75. On May 25, a purchase of "Vengeance" is the ticket to the book event.

“I am simply going to say that this book is about tolerance of other people and their lifestyles,” said Zane in a statement about the book. “It is not only about learning to forgive others but about self-forgiveness. It is about realizing that everything truly does happen for a reason, and that sometimes things fall apart so even better things can come together.”
