Photos: We visit Tank Town in Morganton, not far from Blairsville, where for $50 people can drive a tank around and crush automotives with it.

The experience was a surprise gift to Brunner from his parents, Eric and Heather Waterman, who brought their two sons and a friend from Laurens, S.C., to the site on April 28, 2013, to make a lifelong memory.

As Liebross directs, Heather Waterman is all smiles while her husband Eric, far right, drives a tank. After their sons Brunner and J.W., 16, drove the tank and each had a turn crushing a car, the couple both took turns at the controls.

Rain and mud are no obstacle for the tracks of a tank while a customer navigates the course.
