Tired of the treadmill and stationary bikes?

Double dutch used to be a fun activity for youth.

Now instructor Michelle Clark wants to use jumping rope for adult fitness.

Clark, who jumped rope competitively for years, teaches double dutch classes at several locations in metro Atlanta. She said the intense aerobics class helps burn fat and tones the body.

Double dutch uses two ropes and participants can use a variety of turns, squats and kicks to ramp up their exercise.
