A California man bought a photo album at a Tucson thrift store and discovered something remarkable inside.

Jeff Creek bought the album for 75 cents three years ago after being attracted to the album cover, which features a moose.

The album was forgotten until Creek found it in his garage recently, and discovered the photos inside, according to KVOA.

The photos are dated February 1971 and appear to depict a group of soldiers in Vietnam. Some of the men are holding weapons, others are sitting around camp. A patch worn by one of the men appears to say, “101st Airborne Screaming Eagles.”

Creek and his girlfriend, Julie Rogens, are seeking the public's help in identifying the men in the photos and hopefully, reuniting the photos with their rightful owners. Creek and Rogens have established a Facebook page called Soldier Photo Find where the public can view the photos, share them and provide any leads.
