Americans have celebrated Thanksgiving for centuries, more recently with traditions like the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, matchups on the gridiron and, of course, plenty of turkey.

However, deciding where to spend the holidays can sometimes cause stress. Whether you’re hosting a crowd or braving traffic or airport security lines to get to your destination, some cities may be better than others to spend the holiday in.

In a new report released by personal finance website WalletHub, Atlanta was the only city in the Peach State to rank in the top 100 places to spend turkey day.

The rankings are based on categories such as cost of Thanksgiving dinner, likelihood of delayed flights, opportunities to volunteer and the weather forecast.
