It started with a group known as Shambush back in 2013.

The theatrical group staged a re-enactment of British musician Kate Bush's 1978 video for her debut single "Wuthering Heights."

In the video, Bush dance in a tree-lined field wearing a black-belted red dress, and the folks from Shambush just multiplied the Kates.

Three years after that Shambush debut, the Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is now a worldwide event. Today started with events in Sydney and Melbourne Australia, then moved on to Europe with gathering in Berlin, London and other spots. The event even has its own hastag, #DayOfWuthering, making it easy to find photos and videos from each city.

This year, Atlanta joined in, filling Candler Park with red dresses and the bell-like voice of Bush on Saturday morning, July 16, 2016, thanks to local organizers Kim Manning and Sheri Larsen.
