The Atlanta History Center and Margaret Mitchell House at Atlanta History Center Midtown will be closed through the rest of the month.

The main campus in Buckhead and the Mitchell House are postponing or canceling all public events and programming through the end of March.

"As an organization committed to serving our community, Atlanta History Center is taking this action to help slow the rate of infection and mitigate the risk that COVID-19 poses to Atlanta," reads the institution's statement about the closing. They will reassess the situation at the beginning of April.

For now, the Souper Jenny and Brash Coffee locations at Atlanta History Center remain open for business, since they are accessible through doors to the side of the museum's main entrance.
