Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, located in the Woodruff Arts Center, is suspending all of its performances for the rest of the 2019-20 season. Planned camps for spring break will continue but only with a maximum of 20 people per camp, and instructors “will be increasing its already stringent practices,” according to the Alliance.

A release sent March 13 from the Alliance states, “In light of ongoing developments resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the national move to delay or cancel large group gatherings as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization, Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre will suspend all remaining performances in its 2019/20 season, as well as select programming and special events.”’

The Alliance is considering streaming options to distribute some programming that has been pre-recorded and says it will announce its 52nd season on March 25.

Below is a list of canceled performances, effective immediately.
