Kim Fields, best known for her roles on "Facts of Life" and most recently, "Real Housewives of Atlanta," is writing a book about her life.

Fields has signed a deal with Hachette Book Group to write "Blessed Life," which will cover her personal life and career in the entertainment industry.

A description of the project says it will “be a chronicle of living, learning, and ah-ha moments of self-discovery told with humor, transparency, and refreshing honesty by an inspiring woman who found faith at age 14 and has felt God alongside her through every chapter of her life.”

The 47-year-old wife and mother of two has also has a career behind the camera as a director and producer.

She recently wrapped filming on “A Question of Faith,” which was shot in metro Atlanta.
