Photos: Judas Priest rocks the Fox Theatre
British quintet Judas Priest is one of the most influential heavy metal acts of all time, largely because of Rob Halford's hair-raising banshee wail. Though the band achieved its greatest success starting in 1979, it was first founded in 1969, which makes Judas Priest 50 years old this year. The band that would change metal released its debut album in 1974. Judas Priest played the Fox Theatre on May 9, 2019, along with Uriah Heep, another metal pioneer that formed in 1969.
