Just a year after signing a $162 million, six-year contract with the L.A. Dodgers, former Atlanta Braves player Freddie Freeman has finally found a home in Los Angeles. The California native purchased a 6,289 square-foot mansion for $7,825,000 — a big upgrade from the relatively modest Roswell home he once called home.

Built in 2022, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom estate was custom-built and designed by the architectural team of Rob Diaz, Mark Alexander and Anastasia Ratia. It features a number of stunning luxury features, including a private courtyard, full-service guest house, infrared sauna, upper-deck gardens and much more.

After crossing the grand center hallway, guests are greeted by sanded limestone, oak encased beams and artful studio lighting, The Dinsky Team reported in their listing. Nearby is a large private den and bar area tucked within a private courtyard. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all flanked by steel doors.

The main kitchen is bolstered by a secondary prep kitchen to ensure the cooking space can accommodate large gatherings. Nearby is a grand center staircase that features fluted clay walls, custom brass handrails and overhead lighting. Upstairs, guests are greeted by a 14-foot steel skylight and garden views.

The master bedroom features a barreled clay ceiling, vintage lighting and custom woven linen drapery. There are two closets within the space, each constructed from white oak cabinetry and featuring vintage makeup mirrors. The master bathroom utilized Calcutta marble, features a massive shower stall and an outdoor garden bathtub.

The backyard features a guest house, black bottom pool, infrared sauna and a fire pit.

Back in February, Freeman spoke with the Los Angeles Times on his experience settling in with the L.A Dodgers. Following a tumultuous exit from the Atlanta Braves, the All-Star first basemen was beginning to feel comfortable with his new team. Freeman told the Los Angeles Times he was looking for a home closer to Dodger Stadium to reduce his 90-minute commute from Orange County. Located a swift 20 minute drive from his new stomping grounds, Freeman has now landed the perfect L.A. mansion for his needs.
