Former Hawks player buys sprawling Hidden Hills mansion, flips Malibu house

Know Your Hawks | Chandler Parsons confident in new team and future

While former Atlanta Hawks player Chandler Parsons called an end to his time on the court, the world-class forward has been making plays in the luxury housing market recently. After selling his Malibu estate for a jaw-dropping $13.5 million in late 2022. Parsons also recently purchased a sprawling Hidden Hills mansion for $12.8 million.

Custom built in 2021, the Hidden Hills mansion spreads out across a 1.07 acre estate — with the palatial home totaling 10,688 square feet on its own. The mansion features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a number of high-end luxury offerings.

The gated community in which the home resides famously houses a number of stars, including several members of the Kardashian family and Nicki Minaj.

The Hidden Hills mansion was initially listed for just under $15 million before Parsons managed to snag the property at a discounted $12.8 million.

The estate features an entertainment-ready backyard, equipped with an infinity-edge pool and spa, fire-pit lounge area, bocce ball court and an open-air pavilion. The home itself is equipped with an attached four-car garage, a media room with a wet bar and sliding windows, a piano nook and more.

Before setting his sights on Hidden Hills, Parsons focused most of his attention on his Malibu estate.

The former Atlanta Hawks player’s Malibu estate was purchased by Steven Fabos, founder and co-CEO of the Colorado-based Steven Charles-A Dessert Company, in late 2022 for $13.5 million in an off-market deal. The deal earned Parsons a hefty $4 million profit, which the famous forward appears to have quickly reinvested into his California real estate portfolio.

Parsons was acquired by the Hawks in July of 2019 after struggling with numerous knee injuries across his three seasons in Memphis. Hawks former forward would go on to retire from the sport after being involved in an automobile accident in early 2020.
