Bed Bath & Beyond closing two Atlanta area locations

Here are 5 tips on how to make your rental space feel more like you

Two Bed Bath & Beyond stores in the Atlanta area, along with another 35 stores nationwide, are closing. The majority of stores will shutter no later than Feb. 28, USA Today reported.

The stores, located in Dunwoody and East Cobb, have begun to display liquidation signage, which states that all merchandise is now 20 percent off with no coupon required or accepted.

The retailer’s Dunwoody location at Perimeter Square is one of the shopping center’s original tenants, having outlasted MediaPlay and CompUSA, ToNeTo Atlanta reported.

Bed Bath & Beyond East Cobb, 4475 Roswell Road, opened in 1999 at the Avenue East Cobb shopping center, according to the website.

In 2020, the retailer announced plans to close approximately 63 stores nationwide, including one at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, Patch.com reported.

“While the decision to close a store is always a difficult one, Bed Bath & Beyond looks forward to serving area customers at nearby stores,” Eric Mangan, a senior communications executive at Bed Bath & Beyond, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Bed Bath & Beyond locations at Edgewood Retail District, Akers Mill Square and Buckhead Station, among others in the Atlanta area, will continue to operate.
