According to a 2018-2019 survey, nearly 13 million adults in the U.S. delayed or did not get the prescription drugs they needed because of costs during the pre-pandemic year. Now, for many, inflation is taking a hearty bite out of spending power.

In January, billionaire investor Mark Cuban launched the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company to offer generic drugs at a discounted price Americans can afford. Now, the Dallas Mavericks owner is slashing prices even further.

Prices for 90-count orders of amitriptyline, spironolactone and entecavir have been reduced by 20% to 69%. In total, 25 different drugs have been marked down for the price-slashing sale.

The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company is dedicated to helping make sure no American needs to suffer because of high drug costs.

“We started Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company because every American should have access to safe, affordable medicines,” the company said on its website. “If you don’t have insurance or have a high deductible plan, you know that even the most basic medications can cost a fortune. Many people are spending crazy amounts of money each month just to stay healthy. No American should have to suffer or worse - because they can’t afford basic prescription medications.”

The website offers over 100 generic drugs for numerous illnesses, including diabetes and asthma. For a full list of drugs, visit costplusdrugs.com.
