Steve Harvey, unsurprisingly, has taken his daughter Lori Harvey’s side in her highly publicized breakup with actor Michael B. Jordan.

After a reported year and a half of dating, Jordan, 35, and Harvey, 25, have decided to call it quits, possibly due to reluctance to commit on Harvey’s part.

On Monday’s episode of “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”, Harvey blamed the pair’s issues on the constant publicity the couple received, saying “It’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship.”

However, he confirmed his loyalties are with his daughter, adding, “I’m Team Lori, one thousand percent.”

The TV host has previously praised Jordan’s relationship with his daughter. In September of last year, he said of the “Black Panther” star, “I can’t say nothing bad, man. He’s just got a great family, man. He’s a spiritual guy.”

The young stars are both reportedly heartbroken, with a particularly solemn-looking Jordan spotted courtside at a Golden State Warriors game this week.

Harvey and Jordan have both declined to speak on their breakup. However, all photos of the couple have been taken off of the model’s Instagram account.
