Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, who are co-stars in the upcoming film, “The Gray Man,” sponsored a drawing to attend the film’s premiere, which raised $276,444 for Boston nonprofit Christopher’s Haven.

Christopher’s Haven was founded in 2001 with the mission of helping to raise money for “temporary, low-cost housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families while receiving treatments at Boston hospitals.” The winners of the drawing, a mother-daughter duo from Columbus, Ohio, won flights and a four-star hotel stay along with the tickets to the premiere.

The pledge by Evans and Gosling launched June 2, with Boston native Evans posing with a sign reading “Be my VIP guest.”

The money raised will go to providing 9,214 pediatric cancer patients with affordable housing at Christopher’s Haven while they go through treatment.

“This has been our third very successful fundraiser with our longtime supporter, Chris Evans,” said Christopher’s Haven executive director Joyce Duvall in a statement to People Magazine. “The continued support from partners like them has been invaluable to our organization.

“Christopher’s Haven is welcoming and accepting of families and children from all over the state, the country and the world, and partners like Chris Evans, Omaze, and our new friend, Ryan Gosling, help us continue to do that,” Duvall went on to say.

“The Gray Man,” which also stars Ana de Armas and Regé-Jean Page, will be in theaters July 15 and will be available on Netflix starting July 22.
