Little kids, hippies and stockbrokers came together this past Tuesday to form a giant, human peace sign in Central Park to celebrate what would have been John Lennon's 75th birthday.

Yoko Ono invited the world to meet up this week, hoping to break the Guinness record for the largest human peace sign.

Although about 2,000 people showed up to participate, it wasn't enough to beat Ithaca, New York's record of 5,814, set in 2009.
