Stone Mountain Park is hosting the "BIGGEST" fireworks finale "EVER" in honor of Independence Day.

So claims its website. Hyperbolic or not, the finale should certainly be big, considering the park’s reputation around the country for putting on a show.

This year is the 50th anniversary of the July 4th firework display and includes a 50 cannon salute and special “Ring of Fire” effect.

The park is putting on the celebration from July 1 to 4, each night at 9:30. The fireworks follow the regular Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision.

The park touts the firework show’s previous achievements, including its ranking as a “must-see” show by USA Today and one of Reader’s Digest’s picks for “America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks.”
