Teacher Molly Foos talks with first grade students in front of Il Romanino's (Girolamo di Romano)Madonna and Child with St. James Major and St. Jerome during their school session at the High Monday, February 24, 2014. The High Museum has partnered with the Galloway School to offer their students a day of school with "no walls." The museum was closed completely Monday to allow these students - ages 3-18- the opportunity to learn all of their core subjects (math, reading, science, etc) through the different art exhibitions at the Museum. They interacted with the current art exhibitions at the High to learn their subjects. This is the first time the Museum has allowed an entire school to come in and learn for the day. Galloway is the first school in Atlanta (and the state of GA) to experience school with no walls.
