Avalon resumes free weekly live concerts, exercise groups and play time

Avalon is resuming their free weekly activities now that the weather is warming up.

Starting in April and going through October, the mixed-use community will host free exercise classes, play sessions, concerts and more.

According to a press release, the free activities are a way for Avalon to promote its core values, which include health and wellness, kids, families and communities.

Here are the free events that will occur regularly through October:

Little Acorns

This weekly event is two hours of play time for preschool-aged kids in the Plaza. Sessions may include face painters, storytellers, famous characters and more. This takes place every Tuesday from 10 a.m. – noon starting April 4 and going through Oct. 24.

AvalOM

This wellness class is a variety of yoga and barre and occurs in the Plaza on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., starting April 5 and going through Oct. 25. Instructors will come from the studios and shops of Avalon.

Avalon Nights Live

Live concerts featuring local artists will take place on Friday nights in the Plaza starting April 7 and going through Oct. 27.
