WEDNESDAY: Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon and his 16-piece band perform an original score during the showing of the 1925 Oscar Micheaux silent film "Body and Soul" starring Paul Robeson (right). 8 p.m. at the Rialto.

THURSDAY: The Brazil Fest at Centennial Olympic Park, free, 5-9 p.m., with headliner Olodum performing. (Olodum will also perform later at the Best of Brazil concert.)

THURSDAY: The Brazil Fest "Best of Brazil" concert features Grammy winner Ivan Lins. Other performers include Cassandra Wilson, Marsha Bittencourt and dancers Bal da Cidade. 8 p.m., at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

THURSDAY, SATURDAY: Philadelphia-based dance company Philadanco celebrates 40 years. Thursday, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Rialto.

FRIDAY: "To Curtis With Love," a musical tribute to the soul music legend Curtis Mayfield. 8 p.m. at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

Among the musicians included in the "To Curtis With Love" tribute are musical director Russell Gunn ...

FREE CONCERTS: Thursday: Olodum and the Brazil Fest; Friday: DJ Kermit and Spread Love; Saturday: Roy Ayers (left) and Common Ground Collective; and Sunday: Lizz Wright (right).

THURSDAY-SUNDAY: The popular International Marketplace will be at Centennial Olympic Park each day of the festival. Thursday, 5-9 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, Noon-8 p.m.
