Oscars 2016: Watch parties (and red carpets) to attend

You don’t have to be in Los Angeles to walk a red carpet ahead of the Oscars.

There are plenty of glamorous opportunities right here in Atlanta.

If you are looking to get dressed up and enjoy a screening of the Academy Awards with friends, here are a few options:

Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre will host a screening of the Oscars in their Lumiere Lounge. You don’t have to get dressed up to participate in this event and admission is free. Drinks will be available for purchase. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Pricci

Take a photo with your favorite celebrities via a green screen and walk a red carpet at Pricci ahead of the awards show. The restaurant is hosting two dinners the night of the Oscars, both of which will feature a four-course meal. The Academy Awards will be screened in the restaurant’s “champagne lounge.”

Cinebistro at Town Brookhaven

Admission to Cinebistro’s watch party includes a red carpet photo, a glass of champagne and a three-course meal.

Cobb Galleria Centre

The Center for Family Resources is hosting the annual Red Carpet Gala at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The 20-year tradition raises more than $300,000 annually, according to the organization's website. In addition to the awards show screening, the night includes a red carpet, cocktail reception, dinner and auctions.
