Atlanta sculptor David Landis has created a 9-foot tall stainless steel rhino, "Northern White," seen here in the artist's studio, to place on a 9-mile stretch of the BeltLine as part of this fall's "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine."

A village created in clay and wedged into a rock formation on the BeltLine is part of a collaboration between Atlanta artist Gregor Turk and a group of children from the Youth Art Connection for the fall exhibition "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine."

Last year the Atlanta knitting collective Knitterati created "leg warmers" for BeltLine trees as part of "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine." This year their ambition has grown and they plan to "yarn bomb" a Reynoldstown bridge on the 22-mile BeltLine.

A young member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta's Youth Art Connection helps install the artwork "Civilizations," part of the "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine" exhibition.

Crossover Movement Arts artistic director Blake Dalton will present three new works this fall as part of Art on the Atlanta BeltLine's public art initiative. This year's "Art on the Atlanta BeltLine" will feature a number of site specific productions featuring performance groups including Crossover Movement Arts, which gives three dance performances in September and October of a piece called "Your Footsteps Bring Life: Traveling the Atlanta BeltLine."
