Wildflower Wonders Workshop
Take a walk on the wild side at Callaway Gardens with a wildflower workshop. Horticulturalist Kathy Crye will lead a discussion on what to look for when checking out wildflowers, as well as which would be best to grow in your own garden. Wear comfortable shoes, as the class will step outside to explore the gardens’ wildflowers in their native habitats. The event will be held in the Violet Classroom of the Callaway Discovery Center.

Art festival
Artists from Acworth, the metro area and the nation will showcase their talents at this year’s Acworth Art Fest. More than 120 will be on hand to display their paintings, pottery, glass works, yard art, metal works, jewelry, folk art and a variety of other pieces. Bring the kids, and when they weary of all things artsy, head over to the Kidz Zone, full of inflatables, rides and numerous creative activities. A food court will feature bites and beverages from local eateries. All downtown streets will be closed for the festival, but parking is available at several locations nearby.

Cosplay Pajama Party
Does Mario wear suspenders to bed? What kind of gloves does Rogue sleep in? Find out what pajamas all your favorite characters might wear at this month’s cosplay party at Battle & Brew. Come sporting your own costume, and enter the evening’s cosplay contest with prizes for best in show, employee pick and editor’s choice (winners will be announced via Battle & Brew’s YouTube channel). Whatever you wear, enjoy mingling with fellow pajama pals. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
