Ghosts of Rock

Travel back to 1983, a time when the rock music that has defined a generation is in peril. The “rock gods” — Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, naturally — decide to take action and inspire two young musicians to save the music by taking a page out of Dickens. Be prepared for visits from the ghosts of rock’s past, present and future, as they take the young folks on a historic musical adventure. Featuring songs from Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin and more, the show is in Marietta for two nights only. Tickets available online or at the door.

7 p.m. March 4 and 5. $23.20-$29. Earl Smith Strand Theatre, 117 N. Park Square, Marietta. 770-293-0080, earlsmithstrand.org.
