LAWRENCEVILLE
“Sotto Voce”
From the mind of Pulitzer-winning playwright Nilo Cruz comes “Sotto Voce,” an emotional story based on the memories of an aging refugee. The main character, Bernadette Kahn, is a Berlin-born novelist living in New York who slowly recalls her first love, Ariel, who fled the Nazis aboard the S.S. St. Louis, the ill-fated ship that was refused asylum by Cuba, the U.S. and Canada. The four performances this weekend are the last chance to see the show before it closes.
8 p.m. May 6 and 7, 2:30 p.m. May 7 and 8. $20. Aurora Theatre, 128 E. Pike St., Lawrenceville. 678-226-6222, auroratheatre.com.
