DULUTH

Special ‘Angry Birds’ screening

For some special-needs children, watching a loud movie in the dark can be a frightening experience. But that doesn’t mean they have to miss out on the fun of films their friends are enjoying. Check out one of Studio Movie Grill’s special-needs screenings. On May 28, the theater offers free admission to children with special needs (as well as their siblings) to enjoy “Angry Birds.” This show will feature the lights turned on, the volume turned down, and a no-worries attitude about anyone talking, moving around or even dancing in the aisles. Both the Duluth and Holcomb Bridge locations of Studio Movie Grill will offer these special screenings.

11 a.m. May 28. Free for children with special needs and their siblings; parents and friends pay $6.50. Studio Movie Grill, 3850 Venture Drive, Duluth. 770-299-7100, studiomoviegrill.com.
