CONYERS

Ice Days

Cozying up by the fire with a steaming mug of hot chocolate is even better when you work off some energy in the chilly outdoors first. Here’s one fun way to do it: Pay a visit to Ice Days at the Olde Town Pavilion in Conyers, where you can burn significant calories on the ice rink. Admission gets you a set of skates and two hours of twirling. If you’re a little wobbly and want to work on your moves, learn the basics of balance and style with a private lesson; individual sessions cost between $32.50 and $70, depending on how long you want to work with an instructor. Even if it’s looking dreary outside, the rink is mostly under cover and will be open rain or shine.

11 a.m.-11 p.m. Dec. 23; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 24; 1-10 p.m. Dec. 25. $8-$10. Olde Town Conyers Pavilion, 949 S. Main St., Conyers. 678-374-7655, icedaysconyers.com.
