February might be almost over, but there's no shortage of events during this short month. There's still plenty to do to keep you occupied (and keep your mind off the cold weather.) Here are four upcoming events happening this month. As a bonus, we've also included ongoing ways to save year-round.
1. Movie location hunt
The charm of Castleberry Hill has made it a hot spot for attracting film and television crews, with such credits under it’s belt as "Fast & Furious," "The Walking Dead" and "Vampire Diaries." This historic community was included in USA TODAY’s “10 Best city art districts around the USA.” Talk a stroll downtown and see if you can recognize famous filming locales. Hint: Rick rode a horse across a bridge here in the first season of "The Walking Dead." If you want to dive deeper in movie knowledge, Atlanta Movie Tours office is conveniently located here as well.

The number and quality of booze-centric festivals is growing, so a little research and planning can go a long way for your wallet. Plan ahead and look for early bird tickets, which can be available as far as three months out. Many of these festivals include some delicious food to complement your beverages, like the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ fest happening in late February. If imbibing is not your style, check if the festival offers a designated driver ticket at a discount and enjoy the food, friends and fun the festivals offer.
