TomorrowWorld, America's largest 21-and-over festival, is visiting the Atlanta area again this year and is looking to local partnerships as its "key to happiness" (the title of this year's event).
Contributions in 2014 pumped more than $93 million into the Georgia economy, and this year's increased focus on Georgia partners likely will garner an even larger economic boost.
Want to know how to best support the local vendors participating at the festival? Here's the scoop on where to spend your cash.
Chef Kevin Gillespie and Red Beard Restaurants
"Top Chef" Kevin Gillespie will serve up three extraordinary dining experiences for TomorrowWorld guests.
The first is a restaurant-style meal overlooking the main stage. Select from a sit-down lunch or dinner, starting at $39 per person, with different menus for each day. And don't worry: A VIP pass is not required.
Friday's meals, from Terminus City, will feature beef, chicken or vegetarian BBQ, with sides such as revival potato salad and shaker-style cole slaw.
Saturday's selections, from Gunshow, will offer globally influenced flavors, and Sunday's meals will feature items from the newest Red Beard restaurant, Revival. Indulge in fried chicken, bacon-wrapped meatloaf or vegetarian-friendly cabbage dumplings, all served with fried corn, local greens, creamed potatoes and Southern peas.
The second dining experience will allow guests to take their meals to go in a picnic basket. This option has many of the same culinary themes as the restaurant dinner.
Finally, if three courses are not enough, consider Saturday night's Intimate Stageside Dinner. You'll feast on a 10-course tasting menu served by Chef Gillespie himself — with help from a few of his friends. Space is limited, so get your tickets soon.
Local food vendors
In addition to the restaurant meals and picnic baskets, festivalgoers can enjoy treats from other local food vendors, including King of Pops, Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Australian Bakery Cafe and Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe. You'll also find Simply Seoul, The Atlanta Burger Truck, Mac the Cheese Truck, The Loaded Burger Food Truck and Nana G's Chicken & Waffles Food Truck.
Terminal West
Terminal West, Atlanta's popular Westside music venue, will officially host TomorrowWorld's all-new LIVE Stage. Performers include Porter Robinson and Rudimental.
The Gold Room
Atlanta's premiere nightclub will host VIP tables overlooking the crowd at TomorrowWorld's Mythical Frames Stage, with headliners such as Bassnectar, Gramatik and DJ Snake.
Atlanta Music Project
TomorrowWorld and the Atlanta Music Project, a local charity, have collaborated to give area residents and underprivileged children a summer centered around music: Volunteers who gave 24 hours of service to the Atlanta Music Project and the AMP Street Team, via the #LoveTomorrow pledge, earned a free ticket to TomorrowWorld.
The ATL stage
A staple of TomorrowWorld, the ATL stage highlights a mixture of the best up-and-coming talent in Atlanta. It was curated to showcase the diverse sounds and talent from throughout Atlanta.
Cyc Fitness
TomorrowWorld partnered with Cyc Fitness for its pop-up "glamping" city, DreamVille. In addition to offering yoga, meditation, Pilates and more, this year's festival boasts an on-site spin studio. DreamVille "residents" can take spin classes at Cyc's pop-up studio on Saturday and Sunday mornings of the festival. Read more about DreamVille at accessatlanta.com/DreamVille2015
New graffiti art
Atlanta-based artist Greg Mike created a TomorrowWorld-inspired mural, titled The Key To Happiness, on Ponce de Leon. It's the perfect way to remember the festival's mission long after the party ends.
Love Unites Parade with Blake's on the Park
Blake's on the Park will host the festival's first-ever Love Unites Parade at TomorrowWorld, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The parade will feature drag queens who will perform a series of songs. The first one takes place at the DreamVille Marketplace, where the parade begins.
Watchers will enjoy more performances along the parade path, with a grand finale featuring DJ Bill Bordeaux at the ATL Stage.
Remember to show off your creativity and design the ultimate TomorrowWorld Totem: Blake's will offer prizes for the coolest totems and best photos taken during the Love Unites Parade.
