If you're a cyclist who likes ethnic food, grab your helmet and your fork in preparation for the Buford Highway Bikes and Bites event.

The eight-mile tour, which will run from 8:30 a.m.-noon on April 2 and starts at Plaza Fiesta at 4166 Buford Highway NE, will feature city and regional leaders and representatives from local businesses and restaurants. Along the way, the tour will engage in conversation about equitable growth, bicycle and pedestrian safety and improved transportation infrastructure. The hilly, medium-paced ride is intended for more experienced riders.
