Eat your way along Buford Highway by bike in April

March 7, 2016

If you're a cyclist who likes ethnic food, grab your helmet and your fork in preparation for the Buford Highway Bikes and Bites event.

The eight-mile tour, which will run from 8:30 a.m.-noon on April 2 and starts at Plaza Fiesta at 4166 Buford Highway NE, will feature city and regional leaders and representatives from local businesses and restaurants. Along the way, the tour will engage in conversation about equitable growth, bicycle and pedestrian safety and improved transportation infrastructure. The hilly, medium-paced ride is intended for more experienced riders.

Snacks, water and restrooms will be available at stops along the route, and lunch will be served at the end of the ride (a vegetarian option is available). The tour is being co-hosted by We Love BuHi and Civil Bikes.
Each $35 ticket includes admission, pre-ride checkups, a police escort, souvenirs and snacks, water and lunch. Tickets are available for purchase here.
