There are several ways to celebrate spring and the start of a new month in Atlanta.

As April approaches, we've chosen 7 can't-miss events for the month. From musicals to baseball games, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Restaurant Weeks

With both Inman Park and Buckhead’s restaurant weeks taking place in April, there are a few opportunities to get out and enjoy great food at discount prices. Participating local restaurants will offer multicourse meals at fixed prices.

From Rathbun's to North Highland Pub, take a look at a few of the prix fixe menus for Inman Park Restaurant Week, which goes through April 3, here.

Seasons 52, Bistro Niko and Atlanta Fish Market are among the restaurants participating in Buckhead's Restaurant Week from April 16-24.

"Kinky Boots"

“Kinky Boots” is a fun Broadway musical about a man struggling to save his family’s show factory. He befriends a drag queen who is in need of some boots during the Tony award-winning production.

Cyndi Lauper created the score for “Kinky Boots” and won a Tony for “Best Score” in 2013.

Atlanta Film Festival

The Atlanta Film Festival, one of AJC's 2016 can't-miss spring festivals, kicks off on April 1.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the festival will host screenings of over 200 films in locations such as the Ponce City Market rooftop, the Center for Puppetry Arts and the Plaza Theatre.

The 10-day festival will kick off with a screening of "The Fundamentals of Caring," a movie that was filmed in Atlanta in 2015 and stars actors Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez.

More than 30 films with Atlanta ties will be screened during the 10-day event.

Beltline Boil

Prepare for some “low country cooking” on the Atlanta Beltline. The third annual Beltline Boil will return to the Old Fourth Ward on April 2.

Benefiting the Atlanta Beltline’s “Light the Line” campaign and other improvement programs for Atlanta parks, the festival will allow local restaurants to compete against one another for a charitable cause.

Braves’ season opener

The Atlanta Braves will kick off their final season at Turner Field on April 4 in a game against the Washington Nationals.

If you can't make it to the opening game, no worries. There are plenty of other games to attend at the baseball park this month.

The Braves are scheduled to move to a new Cobb County stadium, SunTrust Park, in 2017.

Mumford & Sons

There are plenty of Mumford & Sons fans in the Atlanta area. When the folk rock band announced their show at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, tickets sold so well that they decided to add a second date.

On the band’s 2015 album “Wilder Mind,” they ventured outside of their signature folk rock sound, making anthems that will likely translate well in an arena setting.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber continues to capitalize off the success of his successful comeback album “Purpose” with a tour to support the project.

The singer will perform songs such as his recent hit “Sorry” and singles from his teenage years such as “Baby” during two shows at Philips Arena.

Born for This: The BeBe Winans Story

Grammy winning gospel singer BeBe Winans will give fans a look into his career with “Born For This.” The musical will not only feature actors portraying BeBe and his sister CeCe, but also Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, and Whitney Houston. The production will feature new songs, in addition to some familiar fan favorites.
