Army veteran Noah Galloway overcame yet another big obstacle to wow the judges and the audience on "Dancing With the Stars" on Monday night.
The competition's Latin Night was supposed to be the first time Galloway would dance with a new prosthetic left arm so he would have a complete frame for an Argentine tango with his dance partner, Sharna Burgess.
But after trying it out in rehearsal last week, he said, "It stresses me out because I haven't worn an arm. I hate the [expletive] arm. I'd rather not wear it."
But even without the prosthetic arm, Galloway and Burgess nailed their difficult performance.
"If you gave me a chance, I would take it. It's a shot in the dark, but I'll make it." (Video via ABC / "Dancing With the Stars")
Those lifts, chemistry and choreography had the audience on their feet and cheering during the entire routine. And the judges were just as impressed.
But even though Monday night's performance was a huge success, Galloway isn't opposed to giving the prosthetic arm another try soon.
He said in an interview with People, "Because this all happened so quickly, I wasn't used to wearing an arm and didn't have time to adapt to the new technology. ... I just need more time with it before I'm ready to use it in a dance."
