We went ahead and made our weekly things to do list for this weekend just in case all of Atlanta hasn’t shut down this weekend because of the weather.

With that in mind, we’ve come up with four fun indoor things to do this weekend and one outdoor activity for those who are willing to handle winter weather.

Dine on take-out seafood

Atlanta residents who are craving seafood, but don’t want to spend too much time outdoors in the cold this weekend should head to Kelz Crab House. The new restaurant opened this week, but is currently take-out only.

The menu will include David’s garlic crabs, a signature on Savannah’s David’s Crab House menu.

Kelz Crab House is located at 899 Martin Luther King Drive NW in Atlanta.

“Hidden Figures”

The Atlanta-filmed "Hidden Figures" tells the story of three women who work in a segregated department of NASA in the 1960s. The film stars Atlanta singer Janelle Monae, Octavia Spencer and Taraji P. Henson. Spencer was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the film.

It opens in theaters this weekend.

Atlanta Botanical Lights Display

If you’re still interested in looking at a holiday lights display, the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s sixth annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights is open through this Saturday. The lights show spans 30 acres and provides a great excuse to grab something warm to drink, brave the cold and spend some time outdoors.

5 p.m.-10 p.m. Through Jan. 7. $20-$36 (ages 13 and older), $20-$30 (ages 3-12), free (children under 3). Atlanta Botanical Gardens, 1345 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta. Atlantabg.org.

“Frozen” sing-a-long

Enjoy a kid-friendly event at Venkman’s this weekend. The restaurant is hosting Princess Brunch: “Frozen” sing-a-long and giving singers, young and old, a chance to sing their favorite songs from the popular Disney film during a screening of the movie.

The restaurant will sell Princess Flapjacks during the event.

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturdays. Through January. Free. Venkman's, 740 Ralph McGill Boulevard, Atlanta. Venkmans.com.

Enjoy a free art exhibit

A condo that is for sale at 1065 Midtown serves as an art gallery on the weekends. The Marcia Wood Gallery has loaned more than $200,000 worth of art to the pop-up gallery, including a rhino made entirely from live ammunition.

Purchasing the condo will cost you nearly one million dollars, but you can enjoy the artwork for free.

Valet your car at Loew’s before heading inside.

Noon-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Through February. 1065 Midtown, 1065 Peachtree St., Atlanta. info@marciawoodgallery.com.
