Marvel's highly-anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War" film officially hits theaters Thursday night. Are you prepared?

The Marvel Studios film blazoned with superheroes, villains and warriors follows 10 years of such blockbusters. It’s the 19th movie and third “Avengers” film in Marvel’s decade-long history.

While you’ll likely enjoy the new release without having watched all 18 preceding epics, you may want to brush up on some of the prerequisites, including the first two “Avengers” films, the first “Iron Man,” both “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, “Captain America: Civil War,” “Doctor Strange,” “Thor: Ragnarok” and Marvel’s recent mega hit “Black Panther.”

But if you are interested in a serious Marvel marathon, just know you’ll have to spare a little over a day and a half of screen time, or approximately 38 hours.
