Vote: Name that 'Monday Night Football' singer!

Hank Williams Jr. is officially out at "Monday Night Football" after using an analogy to Hitler in discussing Barack Obama. Williams released a statement saying that ESPN "stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment Freedom of Speech" by pulling his song Monday, Oct. 3, so he ended his relationship with ESPN. ESPN says they are the ones that parted ways with the singer. Either way, they'll be looking for a replacement to sing a new 'MNF' theme, and we want to know who you'd hire.

FAITH HILL -- She already sings 'Waiting All Week For Sunday Night,' the intro theme to Sunday Night Football on NBC, so maybe ABC/ESPN could work out a joint custody deal in which the Faithster spends Sundays with NBC, Mondays with ESPN. The rest of the week, she'd go back to hubby Tim McGraw and the kids.

JAY-Z -- Although we'd guess being married to Beyonce is in and of itself a full-time job, it's well-known that Jay-Z is a huge sports fan. And with Baby Bey-Jay on the way, well, what's another few million in the bank for extra Pampers and Zwieback toast? (Do babies still teethe on Zwieback toast?)

THE CAST OF 'GLEE' -- Sue Sylvester might object (naturally) but those darn 'Glee' kids are pretty much All World now so why not let them turn the old Hank Jr. standard into something glossy and... well... Gleeky? And nobody works a bullhorn quite like Jane Lynch.

BIG & RICH -- Now these guys seem like the true heirs to the Hank Jr. 'MNF' throne. 'Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy' might take on a whole different meaning in NFL context with these good time boys riding high in the ESPN saddle.

ROLLING STONES -- The NFL is kind of a big deal. The Rolling Stones were kind of a big deal before big deals were kind of a big deal. Need we say more?

LADY GAGA -- We just have this sneaking suspicion that under all that makeup and costuming and beneath the multitude of wigs beats the heart of a secretly all-consumed football fan who holds fierce opinions on whether icing the kicker is smart or not.

BRAD PAISLEY -- If there's anyone who could add a little laughter and good, old-fashioned fun to the 'MNF' theme, it's this guy. We'd love to see how he'd use 'fumblerooski' in the intro but that's just us.

JUSTIN BIEBER -- Yes, he's Canadian and Canadian football differs from NFL football. Yes, he's seemingly all about the NBA and basketball fans are a different breed than football fans. But the NBA is still doing its lockout thing right now so there's a chance the NFL could gain the young prince's ear. The Beebs is the hottest thing since the forward pass and he's squeaky-clean (so far). The NFL likes squeaky-clean so who's to say America isn't ready for some BeebBall?
