The NFL's big game is known as much for crowning its champion as it is for its commercial blocks. This year's game is no different.

Super Bowl XLVIII will be viewed by millions of fans across the globe on Sunday, Feb. 2. This year's game, by the way, will have the Denver Broncos face the Seattle Seahawks.

Now back to what's important.

Super Bowl ads this year even have teasers promting viewers to look for the ads prior to the game. (Never thought you'd see that, did you?) It may be a strategy based on investment. A 30-second ad this year on Fox is estimated to go for $4 million. That’s up from $1.5 million in 1999.

But before we can name a champion of this year's Super Bowl commercials, we look back at past favorites. Don't forget to cast your vote for your favorite:

Coca-Cola (1979)

Apple (1984)

Wendy's (1984)

Pepsi (1991)

McDonald's (1993)

Budweiser (1995)

Reebok (2003)

E-Trade (2008)

Volkswagen (2011)

Budweiser (2013)
