Usher's camp got down to business

Camp New Look is a two-week summer camp which empowers children and educates them about the business aspects of the sports and entertainment industries.

Usher poses on the red carpet with married Atlanta actors Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe. The Atlanta actress is best known for the long-running Showtime series "Soul Food." But she was garnering rave reviews 14 years ago, as one of the title characters in Maria Maggenti's self-explanatory "The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love."

Former NBA basketball star Alonzo Mourning talks about sports opportunities.

The host meets with some of the participants at Alliance Theatre. During the free camp, 130 kids ages 12 to 17 took part in in workshops and seminars that helped them to enrich their skills in various areas including New Look's core components -- music, dance, sports, acting, and video production.

Boris Kodjoe is a German-born American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as courier-turned-sports agent Damon Carter on the Showtime television drama series "Soul Food."

The campers participated in a "Power Summit" where they learned about global issues, music, acting, sports, video and business.
