Previews of upcoming NBCUniversal shows are being released Monday during NBC's Upfronts -- presentations hosted at the beginning of an advertising sales period by TV network executives.

Among the trailers and previews is "Mariah's World," Mariah Carey's E! reality TV show.

E! Entertainment is owned by NBCUniversal.

The description for the teaser gives a synopsis of the show.

"('Mariah's World') will give viewers VIP access to the songstress like never before as she begins her 'Sweet Sweet Fantasy' tour of the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa, all while planning her wedding to Australian business mogul James Packer," the teaser description says.

Although this has all the makings of a reality show, Carey doesn't call it that.

"I refuse to call it a reality show," Carey told The New York Times in March. Instead, it's referred to as an eight-part documentary series.

Whatever it is called, it showcases some of Carey's famous diva behavior: "I have a rule which states that I will not be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses," she says in the trailer.

"Mariah's World" is scheduled to premiere later this year.
