Part comic book drama, part classic noir, Bundy's novel, vividly illustrated by Max Currie, follows the story of an expat, B-level variety star of Japanese television who becomes the target of an escaped prisoner. Forced to take refuge in a Buddhist retreat, the star embarks on a journey of mishaps, paranoia and self-discovery as he attempts to right the wrongs of his past. Bundy, a founding editor of the journal New South, teaches writing and literature at SCAD-Atlanta. He will be joined by fellow novelist Jamie Iredell.
