Sydney Rhame, Decatur High School senior, made an appearance on "The Voice" Monday night, passing the blind audition phase to be accepted onto Team Pharrell.

That gives Pharrell a team rich with Georgians, including Celeste Betton (Hinesville), Riley Biederer and Darius Scott, both of Atlanta. (Not to mention Atlanta’s Regina Love, of Team Adam and Marietta’s Zach Seabaugh, of Team Blake.)

Rhame has been writing songs since she was six years old, and the AJC profiled her at the wise old age of 11-and-a-half.

As viewers of the NBC reality show already know, during the remainder of the season the coaches of the four teams (the other coaches are Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine) will groom their members to compete against the other teams for season supremacy.
