TV docs remind their fans to get yearly checkups
The country's favorite TV doctors may have moved on from their fantasy medical careers, they haven't forgotten where they came from.
"Gray Anatomy's" McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey), "M*A*S*H's" Hawkeye Pierce (Alan Alda) and "ER's" Dr. John Carter (Noah Wyle) are appearing alongside other television medical professionals for a new commercial from the health insurance company Cigna, NBC News has reported.
The ad is called "TV Doctors of America" and can be seen on YouTube.
Dempsey can currently be seen in "Bridget Jones's Baby." Alda appeared on "The Blacklist." While Wyle has had success on cable series and movies like "Falling Skies" and "The Librarians."
