Model Christie Brinkley had to make a trip to a hospital in Miami recently after she had an accident involving a bird.
The supermodel was in Turks and Caicos when the accident happened and had to fly to Florida for medical treatment.
Brinkley posted photos of her injuries to her Instagram account, writing, "We interrupt this holiday to take a little unplanned excursion to Miami for cat scans and stitches following an accident trying to save a bird."

Alongside a photo of the island, she posted a pic of her swollen eye, ice pack and stitches.
Brinkley gave thanks to friends in Miami who helped her find a doctor, ending her post with hash tags #grateful #itcouldhavebeenworse and #youneverknow.
