Model Christie Brinkley had to make a trip to a hospital in Miami recently after she had an accident involving a bird.

The supermodel was in Turks and Caicos when the accident happened and had to fly to Florida for medical treatment.

Brinkley posted photos of her injuries to her Instagram account, writing, "We interrupt this holiday to take a little unplanned excursion to Miami for cat scans and stitches following an accident trying to save a bird."
