Stars dress up Fashion Rocks event

Music and film super stars turned out for Conde Nast's fifth annual Fashion Rocks show, one of the major kickoff events for Fashion Week in New York.

Award-winning singer Chris Brown took the stage for awhile.

Also getting some Fashion Rocks stage time was Solange Knowles, also known as Beyonce's sister.

Adding a splash of country was Nicole Kidman's husband, Keith Urban.

Chris Cornell, frontman for Audioslave, was part of the musical talent.

Doing some of the introductions was actress Charlize Theron.

Actor Terrence Howard appeared onstage.

There was, of course, fashion. Host Denis Leary appeared on stage wearing a dress and toting some heels.
