See prom dresses made of duct tape

Two years ago, two Atlanta area students won $5,000 each for their prom outfits made of duct tape. See the contestants in this year's Duck Brand Duct Tape scholarship contest and pick which one you think should win the title in 2015.

Prom is a night that most students never forget.

For these students, that will certainly be the case. Not only will they remember the dance, friends and the moments along the way...

but all of these people will have another reason to remember prom. It's the night they all wore outfits made of duct tape.

That's right! That's duct tape. Each participant in the scholarship contest created their attire out of the material.

Most of the creations took over 100 hours to tape together.

In 2013, an Atlanta area couple took part in the competition. Sequoyah High School student Caden Kluge's prom story is like most others in many regards. Kluge spent a number of hours seeking out the perfect dress and spent a few hundred dollars on it. The only real difference is the fact the Kluge's outfit was made of duct tape.

Kluge needed a partner to participate, so she called on Ashton Woolen. He immediately joined in on the project.

And yes, this attire is made almost completely of duct tape.

Most of these outfits took 20 or more roles of duct tape and a few hundred hours to complete.

And yes, these outfits were worn to prom.
