See 12 Days of Christmas, more at Magical Nights of Lights

Seven miles featuring thousands of lights have brought countless visitors through the gates of Lake Lanier Islands over the last 20 years.

And now, the Magical Nights of Lights is back for its 21st year.

"We do it every year as like a family tradition," visitor Emily Bailey told wsbtv.com's Nelson Hicks. "And we always come out and do the lights and ice skate and go see Santa."

Bailey's family tradition includes her and her brother, mother and grandmother all enjoying some Christmas fun together. And that fun at Lake Lanier Islands begins with the lights.

There's a massive carousel in lights, the 12 Days of Christmas come to life in lights and the Wizard of Oz lights up the Buford night, too. There are dozens of displays of lights spread across the attraction.

The Magical Nights of Lights happens every night now through the end of the month. Admission is $60 per car, but you can pack up to nine people in one car. Check out lakelanierislands.com before going to see all the places you can find discount coupons, too.
