The Museum of the Moving Image saluted the career of esteemed actor and director Clint Eastwood this week in New York City.

The event recognized the 79-year-old Eastwood's career spanning five decades, in which his work has included such notable films as 'Dirty Harry', 'Unforgiven' and 'Million Dollar Baby', which co-starred Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman.

Hilary Swank was among numerous actors who congratulated Eastwood at the salute.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick attend the screening and the salute.

Marcia Gay Harden attends the salute and a screening of "Invictus." The film is based an the true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa's rugby team to help unite their country.

Hilary Swank looked stunning as she attended a screening of "Invictus" as part of the Museum of the Moving Image's salute to Clint Eastwood at the Paris Theatre.
