Rumors swirl about Madonna, A-Rod

Photos of pop singer Madonna and New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, or A-Rod, who have been rumored to be having a relationship despite the fact that they're both married.

The New York Post and US Weekly have reported that Madonna has a new love, and it isn't her husband.

Sources say Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has been visiting Madonna's New York apartment. The singer's spokesman has denied that Madonna and the baseball star are together or that she is getting divorced.

GUY RITCHIE: Madonna married the British director in December 2000, four months after the birth of their son. They were granted a preliminary divorce in November 2008.

The couple has one child together, Rocco. Madonna also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Lourdes.

Madonna added to her family in May when she adopted David Banda from Malawi.

This isn't the first time that Alex Rodriguez and his wife, Cynthia Scurtis, have been the subject of the New York press.

Last year, A-Rod made the front page of the Post when the newspaper reported he had been catting around North America with busty blond stripper Joslyn Morse. Cynthia Rodriguez left him after the Madonna reports came out, less than three months after the birth of the couple's second daughter.
