Bacchanalia dubbed Zagat's top ATL restaurant

Intown eatery gains top honor for 12th straight year.

For the 12th year in a row, Bacchanalia owners Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison have earned Zagat's highest ranking in Atlanta.

Quatrone's flair for sumptuous comfort foods, like creamy southern-baked potatoes, are hallmarks that Zagat honors year after year.

The complete dining experience at Bacchanalia -- including cocktails at the bar -- helped it edge out Atlanta competitors Rathbun's and Restaurant Eugene.

Innovative presentation techniques -- such as this Fricasseed Chicken platter -- helped the Bacchanalia owners' more upscale eatery, Quinones, rate a close second on Zagat's list of Atlanta's best restaurants.

A broiled pork chop with tomato gravy is one way that Bacchanalia chef/co-owner Annie Quatrano interprets Southern cuisine.

Heirloom tomatoes and Buffalo mozzarella in tomato water typify the ultra-fresh ingredients that put Bacchanalia at the top of Zagat's list of Atlanta restaurants.
